Living in the United Kingdom has a few major perks. Endless cups of tea, rich history, rolling country side and most importantly, we are a stones throw away from mainland Europe. If you aren’t from this part of the world or you haven’t travelled to it yet, you really must. From what I’ve experienced, Europe is a phenomenal place with such diverse culture, harrowing history, vibrant countries and ever changing scenery. From seeing the Aurora Borealis in Finland to drinking wine in Italian vineyards the continent has something to offer everyone.
One of the greatest things about travelling Europe is how cheap the actual travelling can be. My overnight bus from Krakow to Berlin cost me £16 and I flew from Hamburg to Brussels for £4. Using sites like omio.com which compare flights, buses and trains or sky-scanner which compares flights can really help to keep costs down.
Below is a list containing all 51 countries in Europe. some of these countries’ inclusion into the continent are still up for debate however, I’ve included them all anyway. The ones that are ticked are of course where I’ve been.
