Sunderland is quickly becoming a hub of local and independent businesses, with many serving incredible coffee. As someone who is a coffee lover, I really enjoy trying all the different cups from these incredibly places. Right now, with the world being the way it is, having a nice coffee is often the highlight of my day! So here is a list of my favourites, and the ones I am yet to try, most of which are open for takeout right now.
- YOLO Coffee
Located at the Stack Seaburn, YOLO coffee has a great tasting coffee. However, their special hot chocolates are incredible. I cant decide which is better, their chocolate orange or cherry bakewell.

- Flamingo Coffee Seaham
It was fairly recently when this was finally tried, and I have no idea why we waited so long. The coffee is so good and the view wasn’t half bad. I can’t wait to visit in the summer under normal conditions, sitting outside with an iced latte!

I know I big up Grinder a lot, but its only because I truly love the business! The coffee is always great, and the lads who own it are just lovely people. If you haven’t been, trust me this is not one to miss!
