Pancake Day in Sunderland, 2022

It feels like just two minutes since I wrote this post for 2021! But Pancake day is upon us again, and it seems like this year there are even more places offering pancakes in and around Sunderland. So here is a list of everywhere I’ve been able to find!

If you do know of anywhere else that isn’t here on this list do let me know and I will get them added on!

North Beach Coffee Bar, Seaham

North Beach Coffee Bar in Seaham are offering 6 different flavoured pancakes all for just £9.95 each. Their flavours are:

  • Strawberry Shortcake
  • Millionaire’s Stack
  • Biscoff
  • Kinder Bueno
  • Nutella and Banana
  • Bacon and Maple Syrup

They will be open from 9:30am – 6:30pm. They did mention on their socials that they had an overwhelming number of messages about it so drop them a message on Facebook or give them a ring to book your table: 01915130484

Grinder Coffee Central

Grinder Coffee Central

My favourite coffee shop in Sunderland recently opened a second premises in the city centre. And if you haven’t been yet tomorrow might be the perfect time to do so as they are serving pancakes for sit in or takeaway! Their flavours are either Pink Slice or Caramac. The pink slice one sounds amazing!

They will be open their usual open hours 8am-4pm so give their pancakes a go and try their amazing coffee while you’re there!

No 2 Church Lane Burgers

No 2 Church Lane

No 2 Church Lane have got pancakes on their menu all week long. But they’ve put their churchys twist on things and not only do they have traditional pancakes but they also have pancake burgers?! If anyone tried one please let me know what it is like because I am confused and intrigued!!

I know their burgers are amazing so I can only imagine that with pancakes it will be good too?

Port of Call, Sunderland

One of my favourite places to eat and drink in Sunderland will be serving some delicious sounding pancakes tomorrow. Port of Calls pancake menu (shown below) looks really good too! I bet that strawberry cheesecake one is good.

They start serving these from when they open at 11am and will serve them till they sell out, so get in quick!

Love Lily Pancakes

Love Lily, Roker

Love Lily is definitely the home of Pancakes in Sunderland! They serve some amazing flavour combinations and no doubt will be the most popular place on this list! They have put together a menu of 10 specials and their full pancake menu which they will be serving from 9am – 9pm. Although their gluten free and vegan options will not be available.

They wont be doing take outs or reservations so it’s just first come, first served all day.

Clean Bean, Seaham

Although I have never had the pancakes from Clean Bean, the rest of their menu is absolutely delicious! So I can only imagine how good their pancakes will be. They have their very popular banana ones from their usual menu on, as well as two specials:

  • GF Oat pancakes topped with mixed berries and maple syrup
  • Spinach pancakes topped with bacon and fried eggs

They will be open 9am – 4pm. Give them a call to book your table: 0191 447 47 48

808 Bar and Kitchen

I am still yet to dine in 808, but their cocktails I can recommend! They do have a great looking pancake menu on though. Their 3 pancake stacks will be available from 11am – 9pm. They are recommending you book your table though because they are almost fully booked. You can do so by messaging their facebook page here.

808 Bar and Kitchen

Well I think that’s everywhere serving pancakes today. If you know of anywhere else do let me know and I will get them added to this post!
