The Northeast is full of some of the most amazing tourist spots in the country; its home to 83 castles, about 160 miles of coastline, and 4 counties; Tyne and Wear, Northumberland, County Durham and North Yorkshire. The biggest cities in the region are Newcastle, Durham City and of course Sunderland, where I’m from.
Having all of these tremendous places right on my doorstep, it only makes sense that these are some of my most blogged about places. However, I have only just began to scratch the surface of this phenomenal part of the UK.
